If you ever wondered where to start with robotics — start with GEKKO.

GEKKO is an educational suite that includes a robot arm assembly kit and an e-learning app. It is a streamlined educational journey that gives you a smooth learning experience in one of the most challenging fields to study.

This is GEKKO app.

It is not just an assembly manual. GEKKO teaches you engineering through the robot and explains every topic in detail, like a real engineering course: you will learn the fundamentals of robotics, mechanical principles, electronics, programming in C++, microcontrollers, inverse kinematics and much more.

The material assumes no prior knowledge of or experience with robotics or engineering. It is divided into modules and units, each covering a large topic in comprehensive detail.

[MO0] Fundamentals
[MO1] Assembly
[MO2] Programming (C++)
[MO3] Microcontrollers (Arduino)
[MO4] Actuators

And more.

The whole programme is built as a single guided path, and by the end of it you will have a robot you built yourself, with functional firmware you coded yourself.

What comes in the assembly kit?

Includes:
- All 3D-printed parts.
- All actuators and gearboxes.
- All hardware (bearings, flanges, screws, pulleys, etc.)
- All electronics.

Does NOT include:
- 24V power source.
- Tools (screwdrivers, keys, etc.)

___

What comes in the app?

Includes:
- Educational content.
- Resources (manuals, BOM, STL files, etc.)
- All future updates.

___

Can I get STL/BOM without the kit?

A pledge tier that includes only the app (STL/BOM downloadable) will be available in the crowdfunding campaign.

Note that building GK-RA without the assembly kit may require experience in similar projects, some additional work and additional tools.

___

Is GEKKO open-source?

No, GEKKO is not an open-source project.
